MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Jean Mizrahi, Chairman of the Board of Directors & Chief Executive Officer

A graduate of France’s renowned Polytechnique and Ponts et Chaussées engineering schools, Jean Mizrahi began his career in the French Ministry of Industry in 1984 before moving to the Department of Treasury, where he oversaw privatizations. In 1988 he joined Minister of Industry Roger Fauroux as his advisor. After six years in public administration, he accepted French banker Edouard Stern’s invitation in 1990 to become Deputy CEO of his investment fund, Elysée Investissements. Mizrahi later followed Stern in joining the financial advisory and asset management firm Lazard, where he set up their Asian branch with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing (China). Four years later, he returned to Europe to launch Decoralia, an e-commerce website dedicated to interior design and furniture. Proving to be an idea before its time, Mizrahi halted all activities and returned the majority of the funds raised for the project to his investors. The latter in turn entrusted him with the activities of one of their investments, a majority stake in the emblematic French film laboratory Éclair Group, where he was named Managing Director in 2004. Foreseeing a less-than-bright future for 35-mm film stock, he created a digital cinema division, an unpopular move among shareholders, who did not share his vision to convert Éclair to digital. In 2007, Jean Mizrahi left Éclair Group and founded Ymagis with partner Christophe Lacroix, former Chief Technical Officer of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (France).
